22+ years on the trucks. Started Carson Heating & Air because the South Bay deserves a tech who actually picks up the phone. No call centers, no dispatchers, no upsell. My truck, my number, my work.

The longer version

I came up working for the big chains. Sixteen calls a day, every job rushed, every ticket measured against a sales target. By year ten I was tired of upselling people on systems they didn't need and rushing repairs that should have taken an extra fifteen minutes to do right.

So I started Carson Heating & Air. One truck, no dispatcher, no upsell pressure. The catch — and there is one — is that I keep my coverage tight. South Bay only. Inside about a 20-mile circle from my shop on Torrance Blvd. That's how I keep response times honest.

The work I’m most proud of

Most of the work I’m proud of isn’t glamorous — it’s sealing leaky 1965 ducts in a Walteria ranch so the homeowner stops paying $200/month to cool their attic. Diagnosing a stuck contactor in 12 minutes that another company quoted as a $1,800 compressor swap. Sizing a heat pump correctly the first time so it doesn’t short-cycle for the next 15 years.
